i tried with him and died at 50...then i tried it with ike...40...both times because of the explosive barrels. the dam wireframes would run into it and push it to where i was guarding. It was pretty easy with lucas for me.
did you get sonic yet? the guide i saw said you don't get him till after the space emporium or whatever its called but i got him playing classic a bunch of times

theres a variety of ways to get characters.
theres at least 3 ways i think
SubSpace Emissary is easiest but longest way to get it (around 8 hours).
about 450 vs matches(doesn't matter if u lose) is also a good way and should take 1-3 hours if u just do 1hp stamina or run of ledge. If u choose to do this, I suggest u go to gamefaqs since some characters if u play for a few times unlock stuff like use luigi 3 times and get his stage.
third option is different for each character which u have to look up where

nice, i'm 1 short(wolf) since i havn't beaten SSe . do u have all the courses yet?
did u notice that if you pick a characters using the wii controller the little stereo on the controller will make a sound that corresponds with the character u picked?

what do the levels that don't have flags mean?(the ones you beat but still look like you havnt cuz they dont have a flag)?

k, i played the green greens level(the melee kirby one) with 300%, fast speed, and 1 life match(for the dk song) and decide, whatever i'll hit the bombs and end it now. well turns out the computer decided to hit the boxes too...he blew up a split second before i did and i won the match. i'll save it and try to figure out how to upload a replay
