The Starcraft boardgame was already done, back in 1992. The Zerg were called Tyranids.

I'd love to try it, but it would take a lot of effort learning the rules. That and you'd have to find 5 others to play it with you.

So is this going to be a WarHammer type game?

Warhammer is also a game I enjoyed the premise of but never got into because the lack of people I know who playing. And by lack I mean complete absence.

I personally think the a board game wouldn't be very fun for StarCraft... I'd rather play StarCraft the way it's used to play: on a computer with a mouse a keyboard.
