Something weird

When ever i open CS it comes up then closes out. Whats up with that?

It used to do that when you'd open it in a resolution that it couldn't support, but now it should give an error message when that happens.

Open CS's properties window (from the games menu) and click Launch Options. Add -soft to the end of the list. The game should launch in software mode. If it does, change the video mode to OpenGL and make sure the resolution isn't too high.
