Shadowmaster D2 Char Editor

Okay I previously used Shadowmaster Editor to edit some of the items on my Single Player Character. Well I am now getting an error when trying to open the ".d2s" character file.

Error:
------------------------
Error while loading D2S file 'C:\Program Files\Diablo II\save\******.d2s'!
Recieved error:'Invalid D2S Header section'
at offset 0.
------------------------

How do i fix this problem?

Shadowmaster wasn't designed for 1.09, it's abilities were pretty limited to that patch. I would advise using against it, as it does not support new items from 1.10 or above properly. That is what is most likely causing that error, failuer to read an item it thinks wasn't intended for it. I would suggest using Jamella for 1.10, or Hero Editor found in the stickes for 1.10 and higher.
