Sonic + Badass + (Guns x Magic) = Shadow

This Sega game, scheduled to release in November of this year, looks to be an innovative twist on an already awesome title. Basically, it uses the same gameplay mechanics as Sonic Heroes did, giving Shadow the same abilities he had then, such as homing attack, wall bounce, etc. Some of the differences lie in the much darker atmosphere the game will have, the higher difficulty, and the fact you'll be playing as a single character.

Now, there are larger differences as well. For one, Shadow is equipped with an arsenal of weapons. Handguns, machine guns, rocket launchers, you name it. At the same time, he has a number of magic abilities he can use, by means of the Chaos Emeralds. Such abilities will include being able to freeze time, dealing incredible damage, and moving at light speed.
