A lot of stuff has been said about this, and this is what has happened.

Definition
"One-word post", if you like, is a neologism. It does not (necessarily) mean a post with one word in it. The definition used here is:

~ A post with one [altwiki=Lexical category]lexical categorisation[/altwiki] in it (read: a noun, a verb, an adjective, a pronoun, etc.), or
~ A post with multiple lexical categorisations in it, but each individual categorisation does not differ significantly from each other.

If you don't understand, never mind, read on.

Rules
~ "One-word posts" are OK, but...
~ Threads actively encouraging "one-word posts" go to The Void.
~ Threads that descend into "one-word post" fodder with no probability of return go to The Void.
~ Disruption to get a thread sent into the above category is warnable.
~ Minimum character limit set to 1 (effectively, this means that there is no character limit).

Now for the hard stuff.
~ "One-word posts", as said above, does not explicitly mean posts with one word. It means one lexical construct.
~ Posts containing only "Great Britain", "United States of America", "No LOLOLOL", "OMFG" etc. all fall under this rule.
~ Adjectives or additional characters may or may not break this rule, i.e. "Bad blood" is not a one-word post, "Badblood" is not a "one-word post" (fairly obvious spelling mistake, but doing this to break this rule is The Void fodder), "Shit****" is a "one-word post", "STFU noob" may be a "one-word post" depending on context, and the rules go on and on. Solution? Use common sense.
~ "One-word posts" are not fully immune, even if they cover the rules above. Everything will come down to the judgement of the Moderators.

So it comes down to the following: Common sense will be used in "one-word post" moderation.

(Of course, some people have more common sense than others, and things are always up for debate in Battle Staff.)
