Basically, its the theme that is played during Phantom Road in F-Zero GX. (sorry if the guy sucks, but apparently he was doing a kill run).

Praxis - Animal Behavior

This band is awesome... Buckethead on guitar and Bill Laswell on bass (along with a ton of other famous artists depending on the album... check wikipedia for a list). It's an experimental mix between hip hop, funk, and metal, with influences from many other genres such as jazz/electronica. Their albums all have a distinctive sound... my personal favourites are Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis) and Profanation. Metal fans will probably enjoy Sacrifist the most.

Basically if that piques your interest in any way, go listen to some of their music. Definitely "acquire" a whole album... listening to 30 second clips of a track gives you no idea whatsoever of what it will sound like... this one for instance starts as a hip-hop turntable track and ends as a melodic guitar solo.
