Perhaps its not if uts tall enough but perhaps its unit size. Maybe marines/zerglings/Zealots are too small for the turret to lock on to? Just a thought.

An observer and a marine a relavtively the same size, but the turret can lock onto the observer.
Explain that.

Nah, the splash damage doesn't have to be a lot. Anything with missiles are going to have splash damage. Or, I think they would.

Anything can happen in the computer game/video game world. As for the physics that SC2 seems to be using I would think they might add something such as splash damage to most, if not all, missile effects.

Notice when the mother ship slowed down all the MT missiles and they fell to the ground and rolled. So we might see some pretty cool surprises!

well if you just look at the new sc video a group of soul hunters attacked a terran base with turrets and the turrets did nothing. so no ground attacks.
does make me wonder if turrets would attack jetpack marines

So far Wraiths arn't even in ScII and a new unit could quite possibly a mix of Wraith and valkyrie (like the pheonix is a Scout/corsair mix)

They might still have wraiths, but just a little different cosmetic stuff, come on, can't miss the chance of making 3D wraiths, that'd just be ****ed up.
