Just get a stick of 512 DDR Ram (Not SDRAM). That should do it for WCIII. :)
No, that won't do it. It needs to be of the right frequency (DDR400 or DDR333) AND it must have no conflicts with your motherboard.

Don't expect to get your answer in like 5 hours.

How do I know what kind of memory my computer has?

BTW, I was expecting the answer for one day, which is, in my opinion, too much. But since im not really into forums, I guess I was wrong :(

You would have to open your case and look at the label that should be imprinted on the black chips on your RAM. DONT TOUCH OR REMOVE THEM OR BREAK THEM OR DO IT WHEN YOUR COMPUTER IS ON!

Find the memory that is compatiable with your motherboard. Find that out by looking for the box it came in or opening the case again, and also make sure it matches the frequency of the others. Doing so will prevent your game from crashing in future endeavors.

Maybe because when you got the RAM and it worked. It must have been compatiable and the right frequency in the first place. Yay, Darkmatter got wc3 working by luck :).

hmmm... I think the problem is that my hard disk is almost full... it says: low virtual memory or something like that (windows, not warcraft) I'll be getting a 160 GB hard disk ^^ and some more RAM!

Low Virtual Memory means nothing. It just allows Winblows to use a section of the Hard Drive in case your Ram's addresses are full.

well, I say that because a friend of mine has a GeForce FX5200 (64MB) and his game works perfectly fine (while I have a ATI Radeon 9250, 128MB). His computer is a little worser than mine... and he has no problems with the game!

Yes, I have windows XP. by the way, my hard disk has only 2 GB free left. Thats why I think my warcraft is choppy. If thats not the problem, which driver do I have to download? I dont wanna screw up my computer lol

Also, Call of Duty on my computer is choppy (but it wasnt choppy when I bought it). Something happened to my video card, computer or just something ****ed up. Then most of my games are choppy, unless battlefield, which runs properly :)
