My sorc pvp Setup & questions… (read)

Here is my unbugged/unhacked pvp sorc...

Stats-
Str: 116 (20+ str from t gods, 2+ str shako, 18+ Armageddon Fletch, and +30 SS =186 str)
Dex: till you have 75% block rate (save some stat points for this for when you hit lvl 99 or for what ever lvl you stop at...)
Vit: Put rest of stat points in
Eng: have 1200 with mods

Equipment-
Amor: unbugged 1.08 Valor (soc with ber rune)
Shield: Stormshield (soc with ber rune)
Helm: Shako (soc with ber rune)
Ring 1: soj
Ring 2: Perfect Raven Frost
Amulet: Armageddon Fletch
Boots: Perfect Waterwalks
Weapon: Wizardspike (soc with 15 resist jewel)
Gloves: Perfect Frostburns
Belt: Perfect Thundergods
Charms: some +1 lighning skill charms, Resist charms , Life charms, Mana Charms

Skills- 110 points to use ( if 98 and did quests)
Lightning:
1 into all lightning skills
Max Thunder Storm
Max Lightning Mastery
Cold:
1 into all cold skills
Max Frozen Orb
Max Cold Mastery
Fire:
15 Warmth


Merc: Cold Arrow from act 1 hell
Equip:
Wep: 40/15 WF
Helm: 40/10 Blackhorns
Armor: 160/60 armor

you don't need to put ANY stat points in energy. leave them on base 10.
you get over 400 mana on clvl90 with all your +%-mana items and with some more points into warmth it is enough. this is what works good for me and was told me what would work

sorry, i was not right. my mana is now nearly 900 without any stat points spent into energy. even better

Gr8magician, thanks alot for your input. Im not a sorc player, I have a lvl 90 sorc with alot of energy. But she is only for MFing thats it. I see sorcs do great in PvPing so I wanted to try one out

Look I am expirienced a lot in pvp sorc-s so Listen what i gotta tell:

1.You really dont need ANY points on energy dont touch energy!
2.You should put only 1 skill point on the energy shield. Cuz with the items you want to put it will be like 7-8-9 lvl so it will absorb about 50% of dmg. If its more than 50% it will become really nasty because when you are hit it will be like a mana burn boss hits you, and in duel it really not nice not have mana to teleport or cast. So energy shield onli one skill point.
3. You may use the first shield in the skill tree cuz it gives 35% DEF on first lvl and another %5 on every next lvl. So to get the next shield starting with 45% bonus DEF you need 3 or 4 skills so you loose 2 skill points for nothing so you can use them on FrozOrb.
4. Its a good idea to put on some minimal WarTravelers cuz they give 10STR and 10VIT which is really important for sorc. Also i suggest making your STR 165 without charms (only with items )Cuz for me its better to have life charms and put on to STR, than to put on to vit and have str charms cuz the sorc recieves only 2 life per one vit point.

Frostburns

What is wrong with frostburns is it just because of faster cast rate you have magefists???

I was thinking of useing frostburns for mana... but I just thought magefist was better cause of 20 fcr.. I'll have to see how things go..

I have a question.. With 1.08 valor unbugged and ss about how much will I have to have in dex to hit 75% block rate??

I just hit lvl 80 and I have like 224 strat joints to use and I don't have my 1.08 valor yet. Becuase I only have few soj's and a clean WF. But my char is weak and needs some points into vit I'll just wiat till I get my valor..

Huh?? I have base energy and my mana is at 1026... I have 224 left cause I only drop some into str so I can use my gear. Next i'll drop points into dex but before I can drop any into dex i need the unbugged 1.08 valor i wanted... I don't have any yet. Once I get the valor I'll have all the gear I want for my char. Then I'll pump points into dex till I hit 75% block and dop rest into vit..

Do you even need anymore then 1 point into nova for pvp sorc?? i thought I could put more skills into my shiver amor and cold mastery and maybe some warmth... good idea yes?? no??

Is it important to have high block rate or just put alot in vit?? or should I most deff get 70-75% block rate and then drop rest into vit??
