The Sex Pistols are playing in my home town (Vegas) next month.

Symphonic/Melodic Metal > Death Metal imo.
slayer isnt death metal they r thrash / speed metal but they also influenced alot of death metal ppl cuz they kick so much ass
Well, Death Metal was invented around the same point as Speed.
Death and Morbid Angel were the real classic death metals. Slayer and Possessed played minor roles.
actually slayer influenced the death metal scene alot it has been said time and time again
The only difference you can actually hear the words in Slayer songs.
