Ugh... I just hate the feeling of WMP, and the newer versions of Winamp seem to take up more and more memory just to fucking load up as they come out with newer versions of it. Any other options you guys have found?

I liked the older version of Winamp. You know, those Win97'ish versions where you also can customize the look of the skins. Boy did I have some gorgeous RK skins back then. Now I tend to open up YouTube for music to watch and listen to music videos.

I used Winamp 2.87 until last week, when I had to reformat both of my hard drives, and lost my last copy of the installer for it.

My computer's specs are 'OK' for gaming and shit, but I just don't think I should feel guilty about my aging motherboard just to listen to my fking music.

How can you hate the feel of WMP? It's the easiest and most stable media player there is out there, and it takes just about the least amount of memory to have running.

Not to mention you can just throw it on your toolbar and never have to see the big program, and just see the last/play/stop/next buttons.

You should check out Media Monkey though. Pretty close to Winamp, but doesn't feel as clunky.

VLC. It's the only god damn player that ends up playing FLAC without fiddling around with stupid codecs.

I wouldn't use VLC for music organization though.

I only use VLC to watch certain videos though. Definitely not for music in my case. WMP feels weird for some reason.
