How come you poor people can't buy games like normal people do. How come you have to go downloading them all the time. Have you ever heard of going to a store and BUYING like I DO! Blizzard makes games for people to buy but some people can't afford it, they would rather download and play and many of the downloads don't work. GET A JOB! Gimme a referral poor republic.

hi tried that out but it doesnt work 4 me..
I have War3 version 1.04 updated and a TFT iso and i have done all u said..
make a reg file, added it, put your 2 files in the windows folder.

Is there anythiong else i missed?
It still says i need a WarcraftIII copy on my computer and the "software" window doesnt show the uninstall option for that game.

It should work. It has worked for everyone else.
Make sure all the paths in the registry are correct.

Also, you need entries at two places in the registry, have u done that?

I can't seem to install TFT...

I have a crack version of warcraft 3 and ISO of TFT

I CAN merge this

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
.... etc

with the registry but when I go to merge

(Yes I did change it to the correct path and with 2 backslashes and double quotes)

An error comes up

"Cannot Import (filename): The specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor."

I don't see whats the problem... I really need help!

Did u save the text as a .reg file?

Copy this text to Notepad, save the file as .reg file and double-click it to merge it.

If this doesnt work and if u are using Win 98 you'll probably need to replace "Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00" with "REGEDIT 4"

You'll need another reg file for the uninstall entries, refer to DRAKHNiR's post for that.

If you're getting this error after you install TFT you'll need a No-CD crack for Frozen Throne...
Search other threads in this forum, you'll surely find it.

The file I attached is an import from the WinXP registry saved in UNICODE text format by default. For Win9x/ME you need a registry file saved in a plain (simple DOS ASCII chars) text format. My mistake I didn't convert it, then again you can do it on your own.

Having Problems

Thank you very much for that help. It has helped me greatly. I didn't have the RIP of the RoC but it was just a copy of a CD without the install. I looked everywhere for that REG file. Do you mind if I ask how you know all this? ie what files the game needs, etc.. ?
