Installing a custom made logo in CS 1.5

lets say you download a logo and you dont know how to use it. Well this is what you do.

-open the logo/spray folder (you might need winzip) and rename the logo to PLDECAL.WAD .
-Then you go to your Cstrike Directory : C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike and just put it there.
-It might say would you like to replace the current one? Just click yes.
-Then DO NOT click CUSTOMIZE while playing Counter-Strike or you will have to repeat the process. The logo will work on its own

Hope this helps

I sent the first one to the void since it had spam in it

Installing a custom moade logo in CS 1.6

Logo installation in CS 1.6 has changed a bit from installation in CS 1.5. This is how to install a logo in 1.6:

· Rename your custom WAD file to tempdecal.wad.
· Move or copy the file to your \SteamApps\user@email\Counter-Strike\cstrike folder. Replace the current file.
· Right-click the file, click Properties, and check "Read-Only". This will allow you to open the Options menu without losing your spray.
· Make sure custom.hpk is NOT read-only.

That's it. If you want to make your own spray, use Wally's HL Color Decal Wizard. If you want transparency in your spray, simply use Photoshop and convert your image to indexed color with a custom pallette with the last color pure blue so that you can color all transparent areas pure blue.
