*insane Damage On Mephisto*

Ok, I just decided to outfit my Cold Sorc with my sorc's mf gear.

FO Damage: 712 - 746
Glacial spike Damage: 1452 Max

Without static on mephisto (1 player), I kill him in 4-6 FO's, With Static, it takes 2-3 FO's, far faster than any firewall sorceress i've ever heard of.

I already do this damage. And yes, it is in hell. If I hit mephisto with the last orbit of FO, (from full life) he drops down to roughly 1/2 life. Hows that vs a firewall sorc?

LOL tweak. anyhow, when you try to hit meph with the last orbit, you have to make sure that NO EXTRA SHARDS SHOOT OUT. They all must hit him or it won't have full effect.

not too bad, kao. i like it. just 1 thing, i like my sorcs to be more versatile(sp?). i dont really like making just 1 element sorcs, cuz then if you feel like doing other things, and there is immunes, well your screwed. other than that, this sorc owns.

Yea, I tend to make my characters extremly (or try) strong in one elment for sorcs. That way, if a monster isn't cold enchanted / spectral hit / immune, they are already dead.

My next sorceress will be a glacial spiker. I'm planning on 10 Ice Bolt, 10 Blizzard, 10 Ice Blast, 10 Frozen orb, 10 Mastery, 20 Glacial Spike. That'll be so pwn.

just to let your guys know, dont make a fire or lightning sorc for these reasons:

1) i maxed meteor, and fireball, and firebolt, and mastery
2) the meteors wait time for it to hit the ground is ur downfall
3) even when it hits the ground the damage per second sucks
light-
1) maxed chain lightning and everything that powered it
2) dont die that easily but do die a lot
3) even when its maxed, the damage will be like 3-4000 so its hard to get a good hit

conclusion: cold is the best dont be stupid and try something new lol, when i say maxed i mean from lvl 24-30 cause weapon bonuses

ps: i had tals armor shako occy orb yada yada yada, the most elite shit and still could barely kill *NM* meph

Wow, that was a useless post. We already know that it takes time for meteor to hit. And, if you are using those skills (see #1) you should NOT have trouble with mephisto in nightmare. Hell, about the orb thing: My 96 mf sorc did 400 Orb Damage and took hell mepisto pretty easily. You must, just, well, suck at the mfing.

After throwing about 5 skill points into CM and getting my res up (wizspike) I actually can do hell meph without dying, about 2:30 a run too

No way in regular. There are no synergies, so you can't get this high of damage.

You can do meph runs with this build, but you will have ALOT of extra skill points (only max frozen orb)...

I just found arachnid mesh. I switched to Occy + Lidless + Shako + Tals Ammy + 2 Sojs + Magefist + Arachnid Mesh + Waterwalks + Ormus' Robes + 5 from charms = [glow=royalblue]909 FROZEN ORB DAMAGE.[/glow]
