I think that weapons should be able to be crafted. It might not work but its an idea. mebbe also being able to do something to take gems and such out of things.

Most of the items you have listed above are way too powerful for the lvl the item requires. And phaseblades, nonunique and nonrare already require a lvl. And there are no add ons! All the items above are very unrealistic. I mean, just a +1 to all skills usually requires lvl 28 or 29! All of these items you have listed above would have to be hacked to be like that. Or have 3-5 hel runes in them.

Just a few ideas...my 1st post,too. I'll list the highlights of each idea.

Grand Charm of the Smithy
-> Possessor no longer needs keys to open chests
-> Required level 50

Caine's Robes (body armour)
-> Wearer can identify items as if you were Caine
-> +2 to all Mage skills (Sorcerer, Necromancer or Druid)
-> +2 to Teleport
-> Required Clvl 50

Helm of the Instigator (helm)
-> Barbarian only
-> +2 to Barbarian skills
-> 40% Faster walk/run
-> +0.5 Health per Clvl

Well i have an idea, i was always wondering in d2 why they didnt put charms or jewels in sets or something.Like you have to put a certain jewel into a weapon or the set isnt complete that kinda thing

A Truly Vicious Item !!

Hello everyone:

This one is a derivative from certain monsters from my AD&D days.

A set that, when complete, would have a 1% chance of permanently "stealing" stat points from one player to another with every successful hit, not unlike the level drain of the AD&D Wraiths.

You have to admit...stat loss has never been a factor in D2X !!

Makes PvP dueling that much more intense and nerve-wracking. Imagine in mid-battle your strength drained to the point where you just can't wear the current suit of armor, or even carry your weapon. Talk about cruel.

Yeah, then you just have an invincible character that has a billion on all his stat points because he PKed a buncha lvl 9 noobs when he was 99.

All Mods are randomly added to items, as well as what it looks like, and stats. When veiwing the items before its identified will appear to be a black shadow of said item. Weapon will look like a darker empty area. So the weapon itself is completely random, from a bow, to a staff, sword, to wand, ect. All items will have a minimum of 2 mods, and as much as four each. Items will be have a random number of sockets, from none to as many square spaces the item takes up in stash. When set items are traded, the mods recycle. The charm will have one to three mods, no more then twentyfive persent on any skill listed, or no more than plus one to skill, or 20 charges.

Leadership: depending on the skill level you can hire more mercenaries. You can put skill points in the skill. At level 10 you can hire another mercenary, at level 20 again another, etcetera.

Open for runewords: meaning that runewords will work on this item and that the runeword bonuses will be added. It's only not possible to get +2 to all skills on the armor.
