I need help wit socketing major problem

now i am not a noob but this jus stumps the hell out of me

when i try to put a gem into any socketed item it picks the item up and puts the gem in its place. anyone have a clue as to what is wrong???

1. all sockets have been used.
2.the item isnt socketed

i have the same problem with socketing, i was told that it was because i was using a rare gem on a rare sword but i dont know if thats true

Solution

Remove your maphack and the problem will go away
