How much have you spent on World of Warcraft?

I haven't played in years but someone was talking about WoW earlier and it sparked my interest. Between the game, expansions, and monthly payments for playtime I didn't even log on during....

$30ish - game
$20 x 2 expansions
15x18 = 270
________
$340

$340 and I was never into it that much compared to friends. Adding it all together makes it seem absolutely insane but at the time those payments didn't seem like a big deal.

(I didn't include the fact that I paid for faster internet just to play the game)




How much have you spent on WoW?


-I hate to calculate how much I've spent on video games in general. I'm guessing 90% of my discretionary income.

man, looking back on it I'm kinda happy I took my irrational hatred of MMORPGs serious. Saved so much money. Especially since all my friends tell me how unsatisfied with their time with WOW was in retrospect.

That was back right when TBC was new though and it was a) still open and b) not heavily infested with scammers.

I did lose an account that was ~500$ worth to a scammer that I eventually got back but was stripped, but meh.
