How do u get Orb over 1000 damage?

How and what gear do u use to get Orb to do over 1000 dmage??

Lots of +skills items, n LOTS of Cold GC

im thinking like tals set socketeed with perfect cold facet + inventory full of +1 gc's

that might work

my orb is 600 and thats really good for a orb, i dont know how to get it any higher

i bet i could, but im a fire/cold sorc, if i remake a pure cold, i bet i could get orb to 1k

death phantom, nightwings increase cold spell dmg also skillers and facets. ( i have 800 orb dmg tho )

Lol, u wont get much +skills, ur best bet is having good items wit +skills items.

+Skills helps a lot, but the gear is just as important.

My Orb is at level 43 or 44, and it does 1500 damage. The trick is getting items that give +skill%. (Such as Fathom, Nightwing's, Facets.) If I had a 4 socket shield full of Facets I bet it'd jump up another couple of hundred points of damage.

Frozen Orb has one synergy, I would go for blizzard if you want superior cold damage. But still lots of CM and IB and FO pts.

meh get lots of charms and +skills items...... to bad occy rings still didnt exist

It's REALLY simple. Actually, my sorc used:

Occy
Lidless
Shako
15% + 5% Cold Ormus
5% Shako
Tals Ammy
2x Soj
Arachnid
10 Cold Skill

lots of +skill items and maxed out synergy and, whew, items that add cold %

well i would say a 6 socketed phase blade or something with 6x 5/5 cold facets would do nicely, and also a 4x 5/5 cold faceted shield like that guy up there said, and also 5/5s in ur armor and helm... 60% more cold damage and -60% to enemy resist = pwnage, ya?

The question is... will it work?

CM doesn't drop resistance to cold if the monster is immune to cold, only if the cold resist is between 99% and -99%. Or do Facets and Ormus' solve that problem?

Nope, they're still immune.

Its not exactly difficult...maz syns and get some GCs and then put on some cold gear (nightwings or ormus)
