4 zerglings = 100 minerals, 2 supply
1 zealot = 100 minerals, 2 supply

4 zerglings kill 1 zealot.

4 lings may kill a zlot, but in mass, with the same ratio, zlots will win. besides, numbers are not as good because while if you take a zlot life down to one hit point, it still deals 16 dmg, but if you have 4 zerglings down to just 1 zergling with 1 hit point, it only deals 5 dmg, instead of 20 if there were 4.

resouorce wise terran have the worst basic unit.
rine=50min < ling=25 min
2 rines=100 <1 zealot = 100 minimum 5 to kill one zealot. w/o casualties. ling is the best basic units zealot 2 and 3 rine

It only takes three marines to kill a zealot if you know how to micromanage.

But uh... marines + medics + sci vessels owning zerg? Not easily. Simple counter = Zerglings + Hydralisks + Defilers. Or even just Zerglings and Defilers, and marines + meds are screwed. 4 or 5 Defilers multiplies the damage ten fold that a Zerg player can do, leaving it with only other melee units to possibly give this strategy a hassle.

Notice how M&M owns all but 3-4 Zerg units. And Marines cost 50minerals. pretty cheap to own a zerg player.
