Grunt Warfare Or Taurens?

:fencing Ok, heres my debate. grunts or taurens? grunts are great units and are severely underestimated they overpower hunts archers crypties ghouls headhunters. Theyre great.
now the tauren big 5 food unit 1300 life and fair damage.
what would go best with casters, and be less expensive? any ideas anyone?

Put any tier 1 melee against a tier 3 melee and they will lose. Guaranteed. That was how the game was meant to be like. But the tier 1 melee just usually tend to be more useful. I personally enjoy using the tier 1 melee units, especially Footmen and Ghouls. I personally side with Grunts on this one, but I sometimes will use Taurens as well, but just like 2-3.

I side with Grunts, as Taurens only do about 50 damage per attack, and are slow.

I Have never gone grunts, but you both just solved my creeping problem. What i will now do is place a barracks in my build order b4 i start teching so ive got a TC and 4 grunts to creep with.
Thanks guys that just solved one of my biggest problems. now ill go casters/grunts

But watch out for Dyrads/Hunts at about 2/2, which will make it slightly harder.

M.m if i run into that ill post my wards and start purging the hunts so when they got to run they cant getaway (Plus stasis wards own hunts)
