First Grunge Approach

Rate and suggestions for future plz!

and what kind of main background should I use? Just cloud? Any filters to use? For these ones, I used gradient + wave.

EWW no. That doesn't look like grunge, more like hatched filter, or whatever it is...Crosshatch I think, with some brush on the left. Grunge should be done with a few different pictures, and some like...tree bark, with some Layer masking, and such. It's better that way.

why cant N_ use brushes he/she didn't make? its their opinion after all. its not illegal to download brushes ya know. but N_ nice job, maybe a 7/10? I think that sounds about right, but really, it looks like the cement in a dark alleyway or sumthing. I like it tho! PM me a tut or sumthing!

N grunge brushes are good, but only use your own that you made..

Anyways, would brick wall, wooden fence be good for grunge brushes?

I don't really like any of them...perhaps just because they are underdeveloped. I have no problem with people using others grunge brushes, I have 3 sets...and only 1 I have made myself, and I still like my work, heh. But yeah, possibly put some color in that N_, and perhaps then it will become something.
