Fire and Ice MF Sorc

Will someone please tell me if a fire and ice sorc is a good character or not? If it's not please tell me what you think is the best type of sorc.

if so a frozen orb sorc is pretty decent-

20 ice bolt
20 frozen orb
20 Cold mastery

rest into whatever you feel like

20 fireball
20 meteor
20 icebolt
20 frozen orb
5 static field
10+ chilling armor
and all the other points into masteries
What things should my sorc have for armor, gloves, boots, etc.?

This is good!

10+ chilling armor <--- except for this! I think its a waste of skills. Maybe 3-5

well if u want the most mf, remember your resists will suck without a sh**load of charms

Armor - Skullder (ptopaz)
Weapon - Occy (ist)
Helm - Shako (ptopaz)
Shield - Lidless or 4 Ist'ed Monarch
Boots - Wartravs
Gloves - Chance Guards
Rings - 2 Nagelrings
Ammy - i think 35% is the highest on an ammy.. not sure tho

a Gheeds is always nice to ahve along with these and som mfsc's but remember, ur resists should suck with this gear, so u want to keep your distance

Use tals Armor+Ammy+Belt for good mf+Resistance.

I hate Oculus for its " 25% Chance To Cast Level 1 Teleport When Struck ". It's ok if you are in normal or nm , but in hell .... :lucifer
It was kinda annoing in normal Diablo 2 LOD but then I switched to Hardcore , and .... oh my.
So my suggestion , get high enough ASAP and use Wizspike.

I currently have a cold sorcy with maxed ice bolt//glacierspike//mastery//blizzard my blizz does around 4k! Its great for pindle

answer me this.........in the general sense for mf what kind of sorc is the best???? i cant get on d2 atm but i have a blizz cold sorc around lvl 35-40 or so i think are you telling me that if im making my sorc for mf reasons i should probably go orb????

Blizz/Fire sorc is the best for mfing, also get a merc.
