I think the title sums it up. The Harder They Come soundtrack is amazing. It has it all, The Slickers, Toots and the Maytals, Scotty, Desmond Dekker, and of course, Jimmy Cliff. another few that come to mind include, Trainspotting, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Ghost World. I also love The Life Aquatic Soundtrack. Bowie rules. Almost forgot about Natural Born Killers. <3 Patti Smith.
Trainspotting and Life Aquatic are ftw. I find the This Is Spinal Tap soundtrack fairly amusing, and also the LOTR soundtracks are nice if I'm in the right mood.
One of the songs featured in The Life Aquatic is a song by the Icelandic band Sigur Rós. If you liked the song by them I highly recommend getting the album its from, Ãgætis byrjun.

The Holiday. Most of it is composed (Which i love), but they have two songs made by Imogen Heap/Frou Frou; Just for Now/Let Go respectively. This movie isn't really a guy flick by standards, but i loved it and the soundtrack made it that more awesome.
Across the Universe. Though it is a musical and i (thought) wasn't a big fan of them, my girlfriend made me want to see the movie by saying it has trippy moments and was nothing but Beatles songs. I ****ing LOVEed that movie. Borrowed it from her for a good month then finally bought it myself
