Favorite DOTA Rules

Some of you have interesting favorite heroes in DOTA, but I want to know your favorite rules you like to play games in. If you don't really have a favorite, just say which rules you tend to play with more often. It doesnt matter if its 5.84b or 6!

My favorite rules are usually -ar -sc -id for a real man's challenge. If I want a quick game then I often replace -id with -sm (short mode)!

yea, ap is always challenging, because everyone picks zeus.

The worst thing about -ap and zeus is if he gets Aganhim's and a Refresher Orb O_O;. He can use 450 mana to Wrath everyone then use another 225 to restore the cooldown, then 450 again to Wrath. Put him next to the fountain for a cheapass hero killer (assuming the game goes long).

I was a Zeus leaver once. I had 16-6, but I had to leave because my dad kicked me off. Then I find out later my friend stole my Aganhims and my Refresher Orb to use for Rylai. DAMN YOU!!!

All random isn't much better then All pick. I random in AP regardless but in all random it's usually about which team got the better heroes. I mean, like, all the heavy intelligence heroes like Zeus, Slayer, Maiden, Rhasta, Tinker, and/or Ogre Magi is pretty much going to be unbeatable unless they really suck.

i agree with hellwolf. anti mage can usually counter those pesky intel heroes. AND WHY ISNT ANYONE COMPLAINING ABOUT MEDUSA. so imbalanced -_-

Ya, I only go AP to try my luck at a certain hero, to see if I like the or not, but AR and SC are fun together. The main deciding factor in AR is purely luck of the draw, usually which team gets good heros. I hate Repickin, waste of 500 gold usually getting a worse hero in the process.

Yep. I squared off against a Sand King in my lane once when I was Sand King. Rofl, we were scared to use our ults though, cuz we were like "Oh man, if I use ult, then he'll just use Burrowstrike and ult me back..." It was pretty much a rush to see who could get BKB first. o_x;

Lmao, it's so funny watching some of these mirrormatch battles. Although when everyone gets a lotta INT heroes, the effects go crazy when the battles go full scale. Lina, Lich and Zeus, anyone?
