I keep getting this error while installing Frozen Throne. It is error 131.
I tried the solution on the Blizzard forum but it doesn't work for me.
Can anyone help me with this error?

Any of the following could happen:

Your disk is scratched, its new so I hardely doubt it
When you uninstalled it (if you did), you didn't "nuke" the folder before reinstalling!
You are a cheapskate fool and decided to think that a burned crack will work.
Your PC hardware or software have issues

    My aim is toward 3.

I had that error with scratched disks, to my avail, I found an old HD backup and I am able to run it off my slave drive.

    The error says:
This application has encountered a critical error:

    ERROR #131 (0x85100083)
    Program: C:\DOCUME~1\THIJSW~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\war3_install.exe
    File: Files100\Movies\HumanEd.mpq

Press OK to terminate the application.

    @Hellwolf
What do you mean with nuking the folder?
And I bought the game like any normal person.

Nuking the Folder = DELETE EVERY FILE THAT EXISTS after uninstall. Some files can be left behind and screw up the installation process.

By the looks of your error, it is having trouble finding a file. So your disk could be damaged or that file is corrupted.
