grats man. I wish all epic mounts looked as cool as the UD ones though. i don't think Ive ever seen a gnome epic mount and realized it was one, same with dwarf. anyone have a pic of those?

Do epic mounts look any different than normal ones, i just thought that they were faster

they look slightly cooler, and go considerably faster.

Regular mounts have 60% increased movement
Epic mounts are 40% faster than normal mounts(100% faster than walking)

that comment was just wrong but in light of that i made sure my "mount" was a female :fwink

and yea Mounts are what you ride the regular mount is like 60% bonus to your speed (and looks cool) and the elite mount is 100% and looks just plain badass

How do you get mounts? Can you only buy them?

you pay 20g to train the riding skill depending on your class (dwarves get rams, gnomes get mecha birds, humans get horses, etc.) and 80g to buy the actual mount. you can get that down to 90g if you have an honored status in your main city (gnomes and dwarves' main city is IF, orcs and trolls' main city is ogrimmar, etc.) which brings riding skill cost down to 18g and the mount cost down to 72g. you must also be level 40 to get a mount.

the epic mount is level 60 and you need like 1000 gold its hella expensive so if you have one it shows you was once rich (now your not cause you spent it all on a mount)
