Idea is bad, why would you bring back Tristram in D3, we need something comepletely new, nothing that was in D1 or D2 or any other game! That means having no characters that steal souls (soul reaver) or suck blood (legacy of kain) or anything like that, we need something fresh. That includes not bringing the prime evils back, or cain, or tyreal, or izual, or lycander, or fara, or charsi, or gheed, or akara, or warriv, or kysha, or mara, or nilathak, or larzuk, or qual quek, or anya, or halbu, or jamella, or meshif, or jeryhn, or drognan, or natalya, or ormus, or alkor, or anyone like that.

I'm not even sure if Blizzard is gonna make a d3. One problem with this story though, is that if this guy was powerful enuf to make a sword that awesome, then why can't he just take up the throne? And besides, like Lord of Mars said, the throne wasn't left empty.

maybe they should expand the characters more. so instead of going from lvl 1-99, you can go from w/e you character's last lvl and stats were to.. say... 200... and have the game bases primarly on the developement of a kick ass character... and have quests that require an entire team to gather and do hunts.. something that even at lvl 200 you need like 8 people to do... this way, the game still sets goals, people are social, and ladder would be a little more intense... like dungeons or something.. something to keep the game alive.. D2 will be a history or something to remember. Maybe even make d3 a mmorpg! a full world, that everyone can join. is any of this making sense?
