the whole point of the employment thing there is that they want someone to head the team who made the diablo games- that doesnt mean they are coming out with a D3, but it certainly sounds like it. could be possible, or they just want the same team in hope of making another game similar to diablo with some of its characteristics...

The Lead designers of Diablo series of games already have their own thing going for 'em.

Plus there really would be no point to D3, seeing as how the prime evils are dead and their soulstones are destroyed, along with the world stone.

I dont see why he is a moron. You can assume that D3 is going to come out if blizz posts something about needing a d2 game leader. It might not be called D3, but I can bet its close to being like d2.

Shipped at least one AAA title as Lead Game Designer.
Absolute passion for playing and making computer games.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Experience with designing, tuning, and balancing games.
Great sense for what makes a game fun to play.
Ability to lead a team of designers to consensus.

"The Team" for Diablo already left and went to Guild Wars, Most likely there will be a D3 but also most likely it wont be for at least 3 years maybe longer . It took Blizzard 2 years just to get the patch 1.10 ready for release. Blizzard makes some great games but dont hold your breath waiting for D3
