can we use the pictures posted on there for free? im too lazy to go read the FAQ or something so would someone be so kind as to tell me.

It depends what you want to do with them. Technically you're not even supposed to use them on your desktop without the artist's permission but there's usually no problem with that. If you're refering to using them in an image that you're making, you definately need to get permission from the artist.

Technically all you can do is look at them, but most people don't care if you
a) Use them for backgrounds
b) Put them on a website, and give them credit
and
c) Use them in collages.

However, people generally dont like when you use their art and just edit it and claim it for your own.
