OH haha. My mistake. But ya they do have just endless pools of mana. I wish Destroyers didn't have mana degen....lol.

I only upgrade when im maxxed out with like 1000 gold and 1000 lumber, otherwise if i vs someone wif casters i take a few

YOu never get over 4 obsidians anyway, so the max I get is 2 destroyers. If an obsidian is dying because of melee and surrounded, i just turn it into a destroyer because it is almost instant.
