Deception Pass (Need 4 players, level 9)

L

Laharl

This will be a third edition version of a Campaign by Rich Stump (In a 1990 Dungeon Magazine) and not of my own creation. I'll need a fairly diverse party, so please read the people who posted before you to see what I may need.

That said, sign up, roll your stats, using the [dice] command and we'll have fun.

The syntex is:

Code:
[dice=# of dice]sides[/dice]
(Replacing those two with numbers as applicable). The roll method will be exceedingly generous, because this is our first one.

So you'd do:

[dice=5]6[/dice] and we'll remove the two lowest.

What classes / races are allowed, any special things we get like weapon enchants, etc? How much gold? Blah, blah, blah..

L

Laharl

It'll be a general campaign, I'd like the "usual" array of races, but if you have something else you'd like to use, submit for approval.

L

Laharl

You'll need either a web or real copy of the player's handbook, I'd be glad to talk to you on MSN and help you with any questions you might have.

So far we have two people, accepting two more.

Well I like choosing stuff from the MM, especially planetouched. >_>;

As long as your Equivalent Level is 9, I won't be too picky. Also get the standard mid-way starting gold for a level 10 (I'm being generous). It should be in the DMG, but if you don't have access to that I'll look it up when I get home (Which'll be a while, I'm afraid).

Alright I'll be making a Ranger. Two weapon fighting ranger, though. Do you want us to roll stats and the like on here or..o_O?

L

Laharl

Yeah, I'd like the stats posted here. Try to fit as much as you can here, in fact. That way I can look it over for my records.

Alright, it looks good to me. X42bn6, you'll need to read through the player's handbook. I'd suggest a rouge since you might have problems with spells.

It's never easy your first time around. My first time I had help making my entire character, and then people had to tell me constantly what to roll when and with what dice. It's always best to take a supporting character rather than a leading character..that way you can sit back and watch.

L

Laharl

Yeah, Jason you wouldn't mind helping the spambot out right? I'm really no good at teaching/helping people at all. Then post it here and we just need one more!

Currently we have the following people in the adventure/game:
1. Resilian (Character submitted and approved)
2. x42bn6 (Still awaiting character submission)
3.
4.

Still needing two more people, and you will need to be active. All combat will be run on AIM for the sake of time and my sanity.

L

Laharl

Sounds great, just make sure you're a fairly regular level 10 character.

Just so you know my schedule is really retarded so I don't know how well it will run if we do it on AIM.

L

Laharl

Yeah, but it's just not feisable to run it here.

Shados, looks like we'll definitely be needing you as a hero :(
