MMO comic universe. you guys seen this yet? looks like it could be pretty awesome

It is a MMO. If it is a real MMo then yes it will be pay to play. If it is a Hellgate/Guild wars Action-rpg (but claiming to be at least part MMO), it won't be pay to play.

It's p2p, looks pretty shitty and is ps3/pc exclusive. Not only that, but you can't be any of the heroes/villians, and all you do is make a villian/hero from an alternate universe (hell, theres 52 of them right now) that gets magically transported to the central universe and goes from there. Good concpet, the designs look pretty sweet, but it's gonna fail pretty hard cause it really is a pretty niché market and from what I've heard it's going to be mostly like CoH where there initally was zero equipment-- which for the most part in MMO terms spells disaster.

Looks a lot like CoH... The idea is really exciting but the gameplay will most likely be repetitive and boring, especially without obtainable gear.
