Could you explain me what exactly do these types of units mean ?

    Which units are melee ? (Abmos ? Hunts ? Grunts ?) Which are piercing ? Which are siege ? (casters - shamans, DotT ?) Which are ranged ? (I guess archers ...) ? Because I'm not quite sure about these... BTW, I'm not a total noob ... just learning WC3 now. :)

    Well. Melle is like a meat wall. These are what you would have in your front forces. Like, a wall of Taurens. Piercing would go behind them because peircing are better at long range and have bad armor. So you would have Taurnen, with some sort of ranged, Dryads maybe, behind them. Siege would be for mass fortifactation damage. If they have alot of towers or you want to get rid of a building quick you would use these to do that.
