I was wondering, for a custom map and In general,

*Would Chimaeras with the "Web" ability be overpowered?
(as in the Crypt Fiend's "web" ability)

chims would be overpwoerd as is if they had web. If you were to offset that with a nerf in other areas, or a buff in other units then it mgiht be balanced.
Right now if a chim had web, ti would be beyond overpowered.

right. it would be imba because they would be able to web people to the ground and just pwn them.

You have hippos and dryads with chims most of the time, why would you bring up something kinda silly?

It still works!! In reign of chaos or by using Gameplay Constants, you can set it so that it doesnt work like a physical debuff but as a magical one. Meaning that immune to magic monsters aren't affected and it can be dispelled.

I think the chimera is a continuus yamato gun with the help of trueshoot. And if it has some roar added to that trueshoot it is definitely a yamato gun

But did u guys ever noticed that chimaera doesn't go to well with claw because the splash damage really hurts the bears?

Of course. Mass chims are a very bad thing if one guy is going melee for example.

Yamato gun was tight. Chimeras are overrated. Definately easy to take down.

Just people think that massing them will win a war for them. I can defeat them with Dragonhawks easily, especially the noobs when they cry about it.

Yes but this is weird, I never saw the splash damage from my frost wyrms hurting my ghouls or my abo, could this be because of the unholy aura?
Anyways the thing is that if someone has only one chim (they don't need to be mass) it gets alot of splash damage on his own bears.

If you have enough hawks, you can net the whole entire air force. But I hardely doubt that is possible.

That doesn't even work with Gargs. If you get like 3 gargs, it doesnt matter what, 3 gargs will eventualy free your entire army.

That's b/c Frost Wyrms don't have friendly splash damage.

They have a splash cold attack--->that will only affect enemies, never yourself. (unless you attack yourself!)
