I'm a terrible critic, so i'll just compare the two.

I think the person you're using looks retarded, has a queer smile and gay hair, but anyways. The first one is better because the second has some weird shadow that kind takes away from the main focus of the art, the queer-boy-with-gay-hair guy.

Your borders are only for the top and bottom, not the sides. Any reason?

I suggest you use the first one. Goes color-wise with the avatar you have.

The second one looks too bland.

And yes, I don't like the colors of the other one either, but I was too lazy to match what I had before.
