Besides, if someone has the gear to make a zealer and "hammerdin" is the best he'll say palladin and zealer for ________ reasons.
BTW i chose hammerdin too.

CS Zon and Hammerdin are the best, in my opinion. Add a sorceress to static and you got one dead Diablo Clone.

I vote fire sorc...the static field, 25k meteor, and 15k fireball it just devastating. I knew one who could solo dclone easy in like 2 seconds, and this was at the start of the ladder where gear was somewhat lacking.

Besides the fact that you spelled it wrong - paladins are definately my favorite for dclone. Zealots with good LL and ML - along side with good AR and Resistances - can take out a dclone pretty damn fast.

When 1.10 very first started - and dclone was still the new thing - my old .09 legit zealot took out DC solo with ease. He still had his old school crafted 11LL rings with stats and resist - and the old school lo,eth,lo CMSL --- etc etc. Throw on a GA and you are good to go.

Soloing DC in 2 seconds seems a little exaggerated. I have personally seen much much less than a minutes but soloing in 2 seconds seems a little ... wrong?

Probably because the hammerdin is too overused and too overpowerful. Why people make Pure hammerdins baffle me - they all should be variants - because you can still obtain Great hammer damage with another form of killing worthy attacking.

When it comes to paladins, go zealots

I've seen a hammerdin try to skunk baal in gally's baal rune - it can be done - but it's in no means quick, and not nearly as fast as a fire sorc..

Ok who the f*ck said sorceress? He's just about immune to all sorceress elements......
Therefore, static and other things are useless....

I did? He;s not immune, he just has high resists. A couple facets and 25k meteor + static works well against that

Well there is a new runeword that give Conviction .. that give DClone -res.. so elemental attacks good to kill him with.
