.Avi Codec

I can't play any .avi movies on my computer and everytime I go to download the codec is still trys to look for somewhere to download on WM and then has an error.

Any media player that I could switch to or download the updates/codec for to play these?

I find divx the best by far. Its divx.com I think...

If your talking about sound codexs then its a completley different issue. I found a great sound codex package that fixed all my problems forever, but I cant even remember what it was =/. It was some extended divx codex... arg, just try getting divx and if the sound doesnt work then start searching the net for major codex packages.
