Ace Combat 6: Should i buy this game?

Ok, i downloaded the demo, read the reviews but is it worth it? I loved the demo, but i dont want to buy in case it turns out the game is just the same the whole way through - is this the case? Anyone got the game, who can tell me a bit more about it?

If you loved the demo then would it be bad that the game is the same gameplay through out? Try renting it first if you're still skeptical.

Only one problem so far: I downloaded some free planes from the marketplace, but cant seem to use or purchase them Is there something else i have to do to get them?
