Game Master

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for experienced MMORPG gamers to serve as Game Masters (GMs) for our recently released game, World of Warcraft.

GM's are customer service specialists with expert knowledge of the game who will be present as characters within World of Warcraft's epic fantasy setting to provide assistance and guidance to players while also coordinating world functionality. In this capacity, GM's will serve as the direct link between Blizzard and its customers when World of Warcraft goes live to a global audience hungry for new adventures within the famed Warcraft Universe. Additionally, GM's will be responsible for in-game customer support, helping manage our online community, and assisting with the creation of content during the ongoing development of the game. The ideal candidate is a hardcore MMORPG player who is very organized, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

These are temporary (with the performance-based possibility of becoming long-term), entry-level positions that are paid by the hour. GM's MUST be able to work full-time at our headquarters in Irvine, California. Shift hours are initially scheduled as 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday, but are subject to change. Applicants must also be available to work other hours and/or weekends, when required. Sorry, but there are no part-time or internship-level positions open at this time.

Blizzard offers a fun, creative, and technically challenging environment with excellent compensation.

Requirements

* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Must have total passion for MMORPGs
* Previous experience as a GM for an existing MMORPG a big plus, but not required

Please send a cover letter, resume, and salary history to gmjobs@blizzard.com or:

Blizzard Human Resources
Attn: Jack Sterling
Game Master
P.O. Box 18979
Irvine, CA 92623

No calls please.

Anyone interested?

It being a full-time 9:00-6:00 job eliminates most people here aswell. I wonder how much you'd get paid to do something like that.
