Realm Switching

Does abyone know when the patch that will allow ppl to switch realms is supoosed to come out?? Or is it ever supposed to come out because i am really getting pissed at switching realms to talk to my friends. Plz post if you know the answer.

Blizzard is looking into that idea, no idea when they will allow it, if you got friends to talk to get MSN/AIM/ICQ, and ask them too as well.

At this time, characters cannot be transferred between any accounts or
realms, regardless of who owns the accounts or other character-related
circumstance. However, we are in the process of implementing a
character migration feature which will allow a one-time server transfer for
characters on highly populated servers. This transfer will only be
available within a single account, and allow a character to move from a high
population server to a low population one. Character transfers between
accounts are not planned at this time. We do not have a specific
timeframe for the implementation of the character migration, so keep an eye
on www.worldofwarcraft.com for more information as it becomes
available.
