Talents wise, I think Marksmanship is best.

I actually think race has to do a bit with how much better a talent build would be for you.

Like Dwarf would be a Min/Max fighter so go Marksmanship. Orcs get that bonus to pets so go Beast.

See what I mean?

I personally perfer Melee(Combat) and Marksmanship distributed evenly if you wanna pvp alot. Yes True Shot is great, but you do not have to get it when leveling. 80% of all hunters get it so if your with another Hunter then you most likely wont need it.

Builds are strictly what you perfer really. If you like your pet, go beast. If you like meleeing a bit, go Combat, if you like using bows all the time go Marksmanship.

Beast is your bread and butter if you are on a carebear server or don't care much for dueling. Also if you hate partying with people.

Go marksmanship and completely neglect the beast tree if you want in on raids and such. Trueshot (though it may seem small) is the reason some elitist shmucks take you into their parties. Mortal shots and other increased damage talents add to your lethality in duels and in contested territories.

My advice, stick around 35 into marksmanship and 15 into survival (imp. wing clip GOGOGO)
