I was in Stratholme all ****ing day so I could have a hunter roll on rogue leather shoulder pads http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=17206. They learn mail for a reason. Not to roll on my goddamn stuff.

Funny thing, it just drop for me about 1 hr ago and the rogue was there plus a hunter, but he passed, and rogue won. This is why you make friends for raiding, if you want something bad, you tell them.

Does raid rolling work just like a party? Or is there other rules that apply? Cause I've never quite understood it...

It raids, you do a /random 1-100 roll for items. But I understand being a hunter myself why those shoulders are so good. We share the same stats, and I don't really care if it is leather or mail. I still have my triprunner dungarees.

Yes, that does suck, but can't you kill the thing again and again until you get it? Or is it more difficult then that?

If we were to compare the shoulders before the drop i had worse ones and he also got a nice +8 agil +8 stam necklace.

I guess you could say that, but i didnt get anything any how. Its not like i didnt know these people ethier, which pisses me off. Seroulsy though from 9:30-6:00 pm in an instance for nothing is to make you sick.

And for raid loots there the same as party rules.

you are going to do a lot of instance runs, so you will get that item in the future. maybe something better.

Yep, but you got to make a raid group for that, and earning there trust takes time.

anyways:

basicly, a raid is a group of 40 people doing quests, raiding lands, whatever.

When an item drops, you "roll" for it, its basicly a random way of seeing who gets the item, roll a dice, highest number wins the item.

He wanted the item, and a rogue took it. :nooob
