Rogue weapons

People all over the place have been debating on either using two daggers or two swords/maces. Is there really a difference? I mean Daggers do the same amount of damage (if not a tad less) through their damage per second as swords do. If you use a sword as your main weapon you lose cool skills like backstab but that can always be replaced by cheap shot or the like.

What's your opinion on the matter?

i just like daggers becaus ethey are quick and deadly. swords and maces basicly do the ssme thing because the hve hte same amount of damage, so it's not a big difference. i jsut use the traditional daggers.

Daggers, because you can still use those abilities and when you learn a new weapon skill like swords it takes awhile to get their stats up.

I got sword proficiency at lvl 6 so there wasn't much of a change

I'm sticking with swords because i've seen more magic one hand swords than daggers (just me, don't yell at me)

I seen some rogues use Maces in both hands, and of course got that talent to stun them. Every 10 second in combat, he stuns him quite a bit which helps. All it depends is the stats of the weapon. Dagger on main hand, and whatever on the second hand works good.

i was thinking Sword/Dagger combo, or you could keep em all skilled up so you can switch between em depending on what you feel like.

Basically - If you want max damage output, go with a combat/ass. build and dual wield swords or maces, you will do a lot more DPS that way, great for a PvE server. If your on a PvP server, go with an ass/subtelty build, and dual wield daggers instead, for the high burst damage, and tear through cloth-wearing support classes in seconds.
