BLizzard spares WoW from Boll

MTV Movies Blog Uwe Boll Won’t Ever Be Entering The World Of Warcraft

Quote:
“I got in contact with Paul Sams of Blizzard, and he said, ‘We will not sell the movie rights, not to you…especially not to you,’” Boll revealed. “Because it’s such a big online game success, maybe a bad movie would destroy that ongoing income, what the company has with it.”
i like his logic when making movies
Quote:
“You go for it, to please the game fans, but on the other hand if you have the hard core gamers, they live in their own world. And you cannot fulfill their ideas from a video game based movie, it’s impossible,” Boll recently told MTV News. “And to be honest, the real gamers are the typical download guys, right? They don’t pay anything for movies, because they illegally download the movies. So why I should please these guys? I need the normal audience.”
So. What would a WoW movie with him be like?

He doesn't understand what a lich is. And thus, the main character is one.

A WoW movie will probably blow anyway. The lore is all gay now so it'd be funny to see what route Blizz would take.

Re: BLizzard spares WoW from Boll

It was rewritten many times, yes. They would probably just have it rewritten AGAIN.

Re: BLizzard spares WoW from Boll

a Boll WOW movie: would be the same as the lore is now (pause for laughter)

but more seriously, it would have bad actors, terrible script, cheesy effects, and prostitutes posing as actors.

well 4/5 make it a terrible movie, 1/5 makes it a porn movie.

Re: BLizzard spares WoW from Boll

Wouldn't doubt it, Pan. But would anyone here have any interest in watching a WoW movie in general?

I mean if a competent director were in charge.

Well they plan on basing in a whole different time than the lore is set meaning they can make their own story up. They plan on showing past heroes as statues etc throughout the movie though.

Uwe Boll is a waste of life, oxygen and resources.
I can think of a million people who deserve his money more than he does.
I get angry just looking at his pedophilist-wannabe mug.

Re: BLizzard spares WoW from Boll

Boll is, apparently, banned from making movies in Germany.

That's fine with me.
Self-righteous jerks deserve to be stranded on
their own secluded island as far as I'm concerned.
