I like wow. it is fun, i like to play in my free time some times. but now i find myself in a location (in the real world) that has nothing to offer... so i play wow a lot... and it was fine but then after a while you realize... wow alliance suck so much at BGs, it isnt enjoyable, 5000g is a lot of gold, farming is NOT fun, running instances for gear is a waste of time, arenas come down to the team with the cheapest tactics (fear fear fear dead lolz.). so after realizing all these things, the fun just almost died.... i enjoy raiding with my guild but we dont do it often enough, and my one saving grace was respeccing swords and trying something new but no one can craft the sword i want, its retarded!
the bottom line is a video game shouldnt require you to devote so much of your time to get something out of it, or not... since its all based on luck anyway. you can't even get a fresh start without having to put in all those days of leveling back into another character... so you are stuck with what u have or you can lvl another guy to 70
this game wants your soul.....

man if i recall correctly there is something else that requires time and dedication, oh yeah thats life, real life.... except in real life if you put your hard work into something it DOES pay off. in wow you tend to get screwed 50% of the time.

school starts for me monday , and my wow just expired -.-, i went to the beach and spent money, alot of it forgetting i had bills lol

It's simple; just don't devote so much time to it. I play casually and don't raid anymore so there isn't any real reason for me to put my life on hold so i can play WoW. All i do now is PvP with either my lvl 70 or my 29 twink, or i level my 53 shaman. No stress, no pressure.

I still play with friends, i think the social aspect makes this game more fun. Ventrilo, guilds, parties, etc. It's all good fun

Eh, they're good for farming allrite. But on raids, it's a lot different. Frost simply is no longer a raiding spec.

I aggree with you, I played more than 20 BGs yesterday and horde always wins.
farm gold,farm rep, farm mats ,farm hounor and farm exp.they should change the name of this game to world of farmcraft.
people always ask me to tank for them when i play with my warrior ,when i refuse to tank for them they trash talk.
the funniest thing you can do in this game is to gank lowbies with your lvl 70 lol

I enjoy leveling my characters. I enjoy PvPing. I especially enjoy PvPing with a small or large group of friends. It's like going out and hanging out..only killing people while you are at it.

I stopped playing when I did my first Molten Core... Pre Burning Crusades, and I realized my computer wouldn't be able to handlle the massive raids which are needed so baddly if you wish to succede in this game.


But the clencher that made me quit was when I really wanted the nemisis set. I did molten core and wiped 3 times on a low level boss.

It came to my mind that spending 6 hours in one instance, wiping and respawns just for a chance at what you want... thats what clenched it for me.

I almost outdpsed the 1k damage locks with 800 frost damage if ye want to know, I has big e-peen!1

(spell hit rating & latency addons, if ye wanna know. Plus clever damage).
