I don't understand why engaging Kazzak is bad?

It's not engaging Kazzak that is bad, is just that he's a world boss, and in a PvP server sometimes you have players of the opposite faction attacking you while you're killing him.

917 fire dmg before buffs. 1400 is VERY possible with +32% Int=>Spell Dmg.

The 1400 sp is more believable, but I still want to see it.

In any case, the reason why you do good damage is because of your gear, not your build.

You would probably do more damage if you were full fire.

I don't even remember anymore, but I do remember that _Chris said he'd kill himself if I quit playing WoW when 2.1 hit. So I'm banking on that.

And no, I'm not playing. I /canceled my account like I said I would when 2.1 comes out. Just ****ing around in SW and stuff while the time expires.

Well as proud as you are for how much +dmg you've got, all that gear isn't really going to help you do any outdoor raid bosses or Magtheridon.

The trash mobs in there, as well as Doom Lord Kazzak and Doomwalker all have AoE abilities that would probably drop your Mage in about 3 volleys. Not enough time for a healer to save you.

You probably tear it up in 5-mans, but you need to consider having some more Stamina if you want to be a viable raiding Mage. Can't DPS for shit if you're dead after every Shadow Bolt Volley.

That's why you need good interruptings, mate. Anything works, and that's why mages are still needed in high level raids.

But I concur, you do need some survivability.
