| they are different scripts that you can use to make your WOW life easier. there's a ton of them, and each one does something. they help you customize your game, and you can configure them to your liking. mods are basicly scripts you can put into a button so you can press the button in game and it does whatever it is supposed to do. sorry if that's not very clear. :|
here are some examples of different user interfaces (UI) http://img61.imageshack.us/img61/768...terface7bd.jpg http://www.ricosweb.com/images/MyUI.jpg
see all the differences? different mods do different things, it's very customizable

| And to finish it up, Macros are basicly a quantity of game commands that can be done by just pressing one button (either ingame or keyboard).
For example, if you have a macro that does these commands:
/sleep
/say ZzZzZzZzZzZz
You can then choose a button, and by pressing it you'd do both things at the same time, which would give the impression you are indeed sleeping.
There are other uses for it, like, for example, tell your party members who are you going to attack next, so everyone attacks it. |
