in my hometown download is free and everywhere, but i don't find in
worldofwarcraft.com

thats cuz you have to buy the game to play it. buy the game, get the cds, and install. then you have to make an account, and also pay for the account. it's not free, unless you want to play illegally.

you're mainly purchasing the game for the CD key by the way im sure you could download WoW somewhere, but then of course you couldnt play because you dont have a cd-key.

Personally i "downloaded" WoW via the Open Beta they had. I just bought the game in November for the CD Key.
