ice, fire or both?

ok today i started a human mage.. and I was wounder should i be fire or cold or do both ?? id like to hear what you all think

Only like a cuple fire spells ( as in something to shoot someone with ) arcane to do tons of dmg with, only like ice nova so you can run oh and ice sheild :P

also gnomes are way better mages.

Fire / arcane mage is good for pve / instances till lvl 60.

Frost / arcane mage is good for Molten Core and Onyxia, cuz enemies are a lot resistant to fire spells. And frost is good for pvp and battlegrounds, cuz ice block / ice barrier and the slowing effects of frostbolt and cone of cold are godly in pvp'ing, especially if you face melee classes like rogues or warriors.

no fire is the best pvp, only the best ice mages can crit as much as fire, and youll need many epics to do that so gl, so pvp is fire, u dont want to do too much damage in molten core anyways because you dont want to pull aggro
